Your browser is not configured properly for use with
Raindance Web Conferencing Pro. In order to use this system, your browser
needs to understand Java and be able to communicate with a remote
server. Here are some reasons why you may see this error message:
-
You are using a browser that supports Java but the support for
Java has been turned off.
Many Java-ready browsers allow you to enable or disable Java
functionality. If your Java feature has been disabled, you can turn
it back on in your "Preferences" or "Options"
menu.
-
Your browser doesn't properly support Java or you do not have Java installed on your computer.
In order to ensure that your browser is a version that supports Java and that you have Java installed on your computer, please follow these instructions:
-
If you are running a Microsoft Internet Explorer browser that is version 5.0 or higher, go to the Microsoft Download Center here. You
should then search for and download the latest version of the Microsoft VM.
-
If you are running a version of Microsoft Internet Explorer browser that is prior to version 5.0, download Internet Explorer 6.0 here.
Then complete steps described above to install the latest version of the Microsoft Internet Explorer VM.
-
If you are running a Netscape Browser, please upgrade your browser
here. During the download process, please select the "Full" download, to ensure that the proper JVM is installed with your Netscape browser.
-
You may be behind a firewall or proxy server.
You or your network administrator can contact
Raindance Technical Support
for configuration assistance.
You will not be able to proceed until you resolve this problem.
